8 Yard Skip Hire
An 8 yard skip is perfect for heavy waste such as brick and soil. Furthermore, this size skip is classed as a large builder skip and is the biggest skip available for disposing of heavy waste.
Our 8 yard skips are perfect for builders and tradesmen alike due to their size. The skip itself can hold on average an impressive 75 bin bags worth of waste therefore making it perfect for heavy waste clearance.
A large builders skip can be delivered to you on the same day as requested. In addition to this, we are even able to collect it on the very same day. We know that in some cases, urgency is important for our clients, which is why we can provide a same day service.
Will You Need An 8 Yard Skip?
An 8 yard skip is technically classed and referred to as a large builders skip therefore, it tends to be hired by tradesmen and builders on commercial projects. The 8 yard skip is ideal for carrying out larger jobs. In addition to this, an 8 yard skip is able to take heavy waste.
This is unlike our 10 and 12-yard skips, which are only suitable for light waste only. Many tradesmen hire our builders skips when a higher volume of waste clearance is required.
Furthermore, an 8 yard skip is also suited to large residential jobs, however a council permit will be required if this skip is placed on public roads.
What can I put into a Mini Skip?
An 8 yard skip is used to dispose of heavy waste and more tailored for builders & tradersmen:
- Construction Waste
- Dried Concrete & Rubble
What can I Not put into a Mini Skip?
An 8 yard skip is used to dispose of heavy waste, however there are certain items that are prohibited from entering the skip:
- Hazardous Waste
- Paint & Chemicals
- Gas Cylinders
- Fluorescent Bulbs
How fast can a large builders skip be delivered?
Our new online booking systems allows our clients to hire a skip at a time that is convenient to them.
In addition to our booking system, we also allow our clients to book over the telephone, as long as they ring within office hours.
Do I need a skip permit?
Any skip that is placed onto private land will not require a permit from the council. Only skips that are placed onto council owned lands would require a council permit.
It is worth noting that public roads are also classed as council land therefore public roads require a permit when placing a skip onto them. Our trucks are only able to deliver a skip where they can obtain access. Furthermore, if you are unsure whether you would need a permit, feel free to contact us.
